wearable metal…with a history, you create.

some roads are longer than others…

i grew up down a long dirt road in a new england forest. the passion for making things...and to know where they came from was always a part of me… aesthetics, in every form, shape my life.

i left the northern vermont hills i called home, down a distant road to the eastern sierra to work as a USFS park ranger. the desert left a lasting impression, always calling me back.

there - i roamed the dirt trails not often wandered in the inyo mountains, gazing down mine shafts that told thousands of long forgotten stories, wonders, tragedies, and mysteries.

continuing north, in the spring of 2019, i begin practicing the trade of silver smithing, something i dreamed of doing since i was a child.

since then, i have spent time living and working in california, oregon, nevada, arizona and idaho. monitoring forest and desert health on foot and from the sky.

i am so happy i have started this adventure and journey of pursuing work with metal… and will travel as far the road will take me.

i currently spend my summers chasing the next field season. 2022 brings me to central nevada assessing rangeland health, ecology, and soils.

the rest of the time, i spend thinking about, making, and working with silver, metal, and stones. i pass time rockhounding throughout the west, and whenever i have a chance at my machine - cut up, shape, and set the stones i find on my journeys.

after building out a 1974 truck camper, I am able to bring my work on the road with me. a dream that I can’t believe has come true.

i hope to make pieces that have unique histories and lives, that can continue on in yours.

…i urge you, the next time you are somewhere down a long road, take a moment to think how far you’ve come... as well as the adornments and memories that have always traveled so close to your side…
